Episode 20: Lauren Hooper

Lauren is enjoying taking and using bad pictures. They don't need to be perfect to be worthy of sharing and using in your projects. Lauren gets a calendar printed every year which makes a sweet, personal Christmas gift. (And my family are totally getting one this year!)

Sally recommends Austin Kleon's book, Show Your Work. So much sensible, practical advice - it's a book she comes back to again and again for advice when it comes to creative work. This podcast is very much an example of showing your work!

Ali Edwards' Day in the Life is coming up. Her Week in the Life is also a great way of capturing your daily life.

Lauren's advice: Use your own hashtag for the project to document your journey. Choose something that is unique to you, rather than just using #the100dayproject so that you can go back and see all of your work in one place.

You can find Lauren on Instagram @laurenlikesblog. She also blogs www.laurenlikes.com and helps to run Get Messy Art Journalling Community and the How She Creates Podcast

Lauren is also generously giving away a spot on her e-course - Travel Like an Artist You can find out more information by following @100.creatives and @laurenlikesblog on Instagram.
