The quick answer

TL;DR

Pick 100 Creatives if you want finished on-model images and the Meta, TikTok and Google ads built from them, and nobody on your team has time to generate, check and resize hundreds of files.

  • Apparel imagery starts at $10,000 per 100-SKU programme, quoted in writing as a fixed total, and nothing is charged until you approve the quote.
  • Creative batches come back in 48 hours, and revisions within 48 hours.
  • A brand intake before production records your visual language, model preferences, colorways and export specs.
  • We make product and campaign images with Overs, an AI image tool also built by our founder (both are brands of 2587689 Alberta Ltd.), and we publish our own render counts on this page.

Pick something else if you have a designer in-house and need fewer than a few hundred images a year: a self-serve tool such as FASHN or Botika costs less. If you need a brand-exclusive AI model you own, ask Lalaland.ai about its custom tier. If the images must be real photographs, book a studio such as soona.

An earlier version of this page was a vendor scorecard that graded 100 Creatives against its own criteria. It claimed a written pixel-accuracy guarantee with free reshoots, capacity for 1,000 SKUs a month, a monthly retainer as the "industry-standard" structure, and a fair price of $40 to $100 per image. None of that matched how we work or had a source. This version compares the three kinds of service on prices you can check and gives you a test to run yourself.

What AI fashion photography services sell

Every service in this category starts from the same inputs: photos of your garment (flat, on a mannequin or on a person), and references for the look you want. Each returns images of that garment on an AI-generated model or in a generated scene. What changes between them is how much of the work you do. With a tool you upload, pick a model, generate and judge the results yourself. With a studio a photographer shoots some or all of it for real. With an agency a team writes the shot list, generates, rejects the bad renders, checks the good ones against your sample and exports the files to each channel's specs.

That difference matters more than the image model underneath, because clothing fails in small, believable ways. A pocket moves between the front and the three-quarter view. A hem lands a size too long. A rib knit renders smooth, or a navy turns black. Someone has to catch those before a customer orders the wrong thing, and the price of each service mostly tells you who that someone is.

Self-serve AI fashion tools: cheapest, and you do the checking

Self-serve tools charge a monthly plan for a number of credits. The prices below come from each vendor's pricing page, checked October 2026.

FASHN lists Basic at $19 a month for 200 credits, Pro at $49 for 750 credits plus 50 a day, and Agency at $99 for 1,500 plus 100 a day, with top-ups at $0.10 a credit. Botika lists its Pro plan at $46 a month billed yearly for 600 credits a year, at one credit per photo and five per video, with retouch rounds included and a custom Enterprise tier that adds brand-exclusive AI models and a human review team. Lalaland.ai lists Business at €600 a month for up to 50 renders and Enterprise at €900 a month for unlimited renders under a fair-use policy, plus a quote-only Exclusive tier with custom models.

Before you compare those numbers, find out what one credit buys. If a credit is one finished photo, the plan price divides cleanly. If a credit is one generation attempt, divide by the attempts it takes to get a usable image. Our own records show how wide that gap can be. Before Overs existed, we built four campaigns by hand in 2026 with AI image models: 361 renders for 45 usable images, about eight renders per keeper. Men's trousers on a model took 40 renders for 11 keepers. Surf apparel on one consistent model took 163 renders for 12, because holding the same face and body across a set is harder than getting one good frame.

A tool fits a brand with a designer or ecommerce manager who can spend a few hours a week generating and checking, and a catalog of basics where fit is already known. It fits badly when nobody owns the review step, because a tool will hand you a wrong image as confidently as a right one.

Photo studios with AI add-ons: real shots, priced per photo

Some product photo studios now sell AI generation next to real photography. soona lists photos at $39 each, a $149 studio pass per booking (free with membership), a Standard membership at $49 a month billed annually with 84 AI generations a month, and full-body models at $159 an hour (checked October 2026). You pay for real images where you need proof and use the AI allowance for variations.

This kind of service is the safe choice for a new fit, for extended sizes, for fabrics that sell on movement such as denim, swim and shapewear, and for Amazon main images, which Amazon expects to be photographs of the actual product. Our comparison of AI fashion photography vs a traditional shoot goes channel by channel through which images still need a camera.

Managed AI agencies: you pay for the review and the ads

An agency sells finished work. You send samples or product photos, a style list, colorways and the channels each image is for. The agency writes the shot list, holds the same model across the set, rejects the renders that drift, checks the keepers against your sample, and exports each file to the sizes your store, Google Shopping feed and ad accounts need. Most agencies quote per project rather than list a price, so ask for a fixed total in writing before any work starts.

100 Creatives is one of these. We quote apparel imagery from $10,000 per 100-SKU programme and product photography from $5,000 per project, and the ads made from those images are quoted within the same budget ranges listed on our contact page, starting at $4,000. That is many times the cost of a $49 tool plan. It makes sense only when the hours your team would spend generating, checking and resizing are worth more than the difference, or when you need the ads as well as the images. If you are unsure which side of that line you are on, our piece on choosing an agency or an AI tool for product photos works through it.

How to test an AI fashion photography service in one week

Demo galleries show each vendor's best garment, and that garment isn't yours. Pick three of your own pieces that are hard in different ways: a knit or rib with visible texture, a dark solid (black or navy is where color drifts first), and a print or logo. Send the same three to two or three services, with the same brief, and ask for four images per piece on the same model.

Then lay every image next to the physical sample and score five things. Fit: does the hem, rise and sleeve length match the size on the model? Color: does it match the swatch under daylight, on a calibrated screen? Texture: is the knit still a knit at 100 percent zoom? Consistency: is it the same face and body in all four images? Print: are the logo and any text spelled and placed correctly? Our checklist for reviewing AI creative from an agency has the full list.

Finally check the files. Shopify recommends square product images of 2048 x 2048 pixels and accepts up to 5000 x 5000 and 20 MB (Shopify Help Center, checked October 2026). Meta catalog images must be at least 500 x 500 pixels, JPEG or PNG, up to 8 MB (Meta catalog reference, checked October 2026). A service that returns one 1024-pixel square has left the export work to you. A good brief makes this test fairer; how to brief an agency for AI creative covers what to send.

Six questions to ask before you sign

What does one credit or one image buy? A finished, checked photo, or one generation attempt you still have to sort through.

What happens when an image doesn't match the sample? Ask how many revision rounds are included and how fast they come back. Botika lists two or three retouch rounds depending on plan. 100 Creatives returns revisions within 48 hours.

Who owns the AI model's likeness? On shared plans, other brands may use the same AI faces. Lalaland.ai lists IP and copyright ownership only on its custom Exclusive tier, and Botika lists exclusive models only on Enterprise. If you want your own recurring face, get the rights in writing.

Is any of it based on a real person? A digital replica of a real model needs that model's consent. New York's Fashion Workers Act, in effect since June 19, 2025, requires prior written consent for digital replicas that states scope, purpose, pay and duration (Morgan Lewis, checked October 2026). Our comparison of AI fashion models vs real models covers the three options.

Will the files carry the AI metadata my channels need? Google Merchant Center asks that generated images keep their IPTC DigitalSourceType tag, and Amazon asks sellers to tag fully AI photoreal people with the keyword contains-synthetic-performer. Many compressors strip metadata, so test one file through your own pipeline.

Can you label ads where the law requires it? New York has required conspicuous disclosure of synthetic performers in ads since June 9, 2026, and Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires disclosure of realistic AI people from August 2, 2026 (Davis+Gilbert, checked October 2026). Leave room for the label in the 4:5 and 9:16 layouts. This is general information, not legal advice.

Which should you buy?

You have an in-house designer and fewer than a few hundred images a year. A self-serve tool. FASHN has the lowest entry price on this page; Botika includes retouch rounds. Budget the designer's review time as part of the cost.

You want one AI model that belongs to your brand, across thousands of images. Ask Botika for Enterprise and Lalaland.ai for Exclusive, and compare the rights terms before the price.

You are launching a new fit, extended sizes, swim or denim, or selling mostly on Amazon. A studio and a real model. soona's per-photo pricing suits a small batch; a fashion photographer suits a full campaign.

You need finished images for every colorway plus the ads that use them, and nobody has time to check renders. A managed agency. That is the work 100 Creatives does for apparel brands.

You want to run the pipeline yourself after someone sets it up. Our Workflows & Engines builds start at $4,000 and hand a brand-trained pipeline to your team; see taking AI creative in-house. Overs is the tool we use, built by our founder, so weigh that disclosure.

Where 100 Creatives fits

100 Creatives is an AI-powered creative agency in Calgary, Canada, that makes static and video ads, and the product imagery behind them, for DTC and consumer brands advertising on Meta, TikTok and Google. Founded in 2026 by Abhi Chawla, we work from a brand intake that records your visual language, model preferences, colorways and export specs before production starts. Most of our client work is under NDA, so the portfolio shows spec work: concepts made for brands that did not commission them.

Send your style list, which styles are fit-approved, your colorways and the channels each image is for. If a style needs a real photograph or a tool would serve you better, we will say so before we quote. The DTC clothing photography playbook shows the shot list we plan from, and pricing lists the starting points.

Frequently asked questions

What do AI fashion photography services cost?
Self-serve tools list monthly plans: FASHN from $19 a month for 200 credits, Botika Pro at $46 a month billed yearly for 600 credits a year, and Lalaland.ai Business at 600 euros a month for up to 50 renders, per their pricing pages in October 2026. Studios such as soona charge $39 a photo. Managed agencies quote per project; 100 Creatives quotes apparel imagery from $10,000 per 100-SKU programme.
Should I use an AI fashion photography tool or an agency?
Use a tool if someone on your team can spend a few hours a week generating images and checking each one against the physical sample. Use an agency if nobody owns that review step, or if you also need the ads built from the images. The tool is far cheaper per month; the agency charges for the hours of generating, rejecting, checking and resizing that the tool leaves to you.
How do I test an AI fashion photography service before signing?
Send the same three garments to two or three services: a textured knit, a black or navy solid, and a print or logo. Ask for four images of each on the same model. Compare every image with the physical sample for fit, color, texture, model consistency and print accuracy, then check that the files meet your Shopify and Meta catalog specs. One week is enough to see the differences.
Who owns the AI model's face in AI fashion photos?
It depends on the plan. On shared plans, the AI models are part of the vendor's library and other brands can use the same faces. Lalaland.ai lists IP and copyright ownership only on its custom Exclusive tier, and Botika offers brand-exclusive models only on Enterprise, according to their pricing pages in October 2026. If you want a recurring face that belongs to your brand, get the rights terms in writing.
Do I need to label AI fashion photos?
Sometimes. Google Merchant Center asks that AI-generated product images keep their IPTC DigitalSourceType metadata. Amazon asks sellers to tag fully AI photoreal people with the keyword contains-synthetic-performer. New York requires conspicuous disclosure of synthetic performers in ads since June 9, 2026, and the EU AI Act requires disclosure of realistic AI people from August 2, 2026. This is general information, not legal advice.
What are the best AI tools for fashion photography?
It depends on the job. FASHN has the lowest entry price of the tools we checked, with video on every plan. Botika includes retouch rounds and sells a Shopify app. Lalaland.ai offers multiple body sizes and a custom exclusive-model tier. soona suits brands that need some real photographs alongside AI variations. Run the same three garments through two of them before choosing, and judge the output against your samples.
