One owner in-house, a steady flow of images
Run it in Overs, our sister product. Pro is $29 a month for unlimited photos, and Team is $99 a month for 5 seats and 10 brands.

Scale comes from reuse: one set of reference photos per product, brand rules written once, an approved character sheet reused across the catalog, and shot templates whose sentences stay the same from photo to photo. After that the limit is review time, because in our own hand-built campaigns it took about 8 renders for every photo we kept.
100 Creatives makes its images in Overs, the AI photo tool our founder, Abhi Chawla, built. Both are brands of 2587689 Alberta Ltd.
TL;DR
Pick 100 Creatives if you need product imagery across a catalog, and the ads built from it, with a fixed quoted total and someone else doing the review.
Pick something else if you have someone in-house to review renders. Overs, our sister product, gives unlimited photos on Pro ($29/mo) and Team ($99/mo, 5 seats, 10 brands), with AI fees of about $0.27 to $1.69 per usable photo on your own key. If you mostly need clean cut-outs of a large catalog, Photoroom's Pro plan is ~$12.99/mo.
Count per product, then multiply. A store page wants several images of each product. In the Baymard Institute's product page study (2017), 56% of test users started by exploring the images, and 42% tried to judge a product's size and scale from them.
Each ad placement wants its own crop too. Meta calls for 1440 x 1800 at 4:5 in feeds and 1440 x 2560 at 9:16 in Stories and Reels (Meta Ads Guide), Shopify recommends 2048 x 2048 for square product images (Shopify Help Center), and TikTok suggests 3 to 5 different creatives per ad group (TikTok Ads Help Center). All were checked in September 2026.
A worked example, not a benchmark: 50 products with 6 finished images each is 300 images. At our average of 8 renders per keeper, that is about 2,400 renders. On Nano Banana 2 at $0.067 a render (Gemini API pricing), the model fees come to about $161. Someone also has to look at all 2,400.
Photograph every side that will show, the label flat and straight, and close-ups of texture or hardware. A phone works if the photos are sharp, evenly lit and true to color. Every later image of that product reuses the set.
Write the look down in terms an image model can follow: hex codes for the palette and background, the direction and hardness of the light, the lens and the grain. Our kept prompts on Nano Banana models described light as something falling on a surface and gave grain its own sentence. Rules written once apply to every product after.
For anything worn or held, approve one character sheet and reuse it. On our surf job the sheet took 20 attempts, a cost worth paying once per model instead of once per product. In Overs, earlier character sheets become a talent library, and packaged products can use a cast too.
On our trousers job, the backdrop and lighting sentences were reused word for word across the store photos. Only the framing and pose changed from photo to photo, and the camera sentence changed once, for the fabric close-up. Fixed sentences hold the backdrop and the light steady across a set.
Every approve, change or reject needs a reason, and the reasons need to reach the next prompt. In Overs they become brand memory, and a note that fixed an approved photo is remembered for later photos.
Model fees stay small as volume grows. Review time grows with every render. Our four hand-built campaigns show how much the tries swing by job:
| Job | Renders | Photos kept | Renders per keeper |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gummy supplement ads | 38 | 12 | 3.2 |
| Men's trousers on a model, in a studio | 40 | 11 | 3.6 |
| Brownie food ads with motion | 120 | 10 | 12.0 |
| Surf apparel on one model across studio, cliff and ocean scenes | 163 | 12 | 13.6 |
| All four | 361 | 45 | 8.0 |
The two studio jobs took 3 to 4 tries per keeper. The two jobs with more scenes or with motion took 12.0 and 13.6. Plan catalog work like the studio jobs: one backdrop, one light, one approved model and the same sentences in every prompt.
On Pro and Team, Overs runs a reviewer that checks each photo against the references before a person sees it and retries on its own up to a limit you set, so a person sees photos that already passed a check against the references. The final yes stays with a person.
Take one 30-photo set (10 packshots on white, 10 lifestyle scenes and 10 photos on a model) and repeat it for each product line. At soona's published studio prices the set costs $2,026, and with a hired crew for one day it costs $13,790 before usage fees, per Overs' guide to what a product photo shoot costs. On Overs it comes to about $36 to $118. That covers the $29 Pro plan, 3 to 14 tries per photo on Nano Banana 2 or GPT Image 2 at high quality, and about $0.20 of planning for each of three runs.
The plan fee is flat, so within the month the next set costs only its model fees and planning, about $7 to $89. The shoot costs the same again every time.
In-house with a tool works when one person owns the look and has review time. Overs Team gives 5 seats and 10 brands for $99 a month, with every decision recorded by name.
An agency works when nobody has that time, or when the catalog also needs ads and video. 100 Creatives quotes product photography from $5,000 per project and 100-SKU apparel programmes from $10,000, with batches back in 48 hours.
Both works when your team runs the catalog and the agency makes campaigns from the same references, rules and cast.
Overs keeps the pieces that make scale work between runs: the brand rules, the talent library and the brand memory, so the second product starts where the first one ended. Every photo gets only the references it needs, in order, and you see the plan and the cost before anything renders. Pro and Team make unlimited photos. It is what our own team makes its images in today, and at our average of 8 tries a usable photo costs $0.27 to $1.69 in AI fees.

By reusing four things across every product: one set of reference photos per product, brand rules written once as hex codes and light and lens settings, an approved character sheet for anything worn or held, and shot templates whose backdrop and light sentences stay fixed. After that, review time sets the pace. In our hand-built campaigns it took about 8 renders per keeper.
It depends on where it sells. A store page wants several angles and at least one image that shows scale, since Baymard's 2017 study found 42% of test users tried to judge size from product images. Each ad placement also wants its own crop, such as 4:5 for Meta feeds and 9:16 for Stories and Reels.
As a worked example, 300 finished images at our average of 8 renders per keeper is about 2,400 renders. On Nano Banana 2 at $0.067 a render, that is about $161 in model fees, plus a tool plan such as Overs Pro at $29 a month. The larger cost is the time it takes to review 2,400 renders.
Review. Model fees stay small, but every render needs someone to compare it with the product and the brand. In our four hand-built campaigns, the studio jobs took 3 to 4 renders per keeper, while one model carried across three scenes took 13.6. Plan catalog work around one backdrop, one light and fixed prompt sentences, like the studio jobs.
Yes, if you lock the person first. Make a character sheet, one model shown from several angles in the exact product, approve it, and send it as the first reference in every photo with a person. On one of our surf jobs the sheet took 20 attempts, so it pays to reuse it. Overs keeps earlier sheets as a talent library.
Yes, as quoted projects. Product photography starts at $5,000 per project and 100-SKU apparel programmes start at $10,000, with batches back in 48 hours and revisions within 48 hours. Every engagement gets a written quote with a fixed total, and nothing is charged until it is approved. 100 Creatives makes its images in Overs.
